======ACCC grants APRA re-authorisation======
The final determination from the [[http://www.accc.gov.au/|ACCC]] granting [[http://www.apra.com.au/|APRA's]] monopoly authorisation is now up [[http://www.accc.gov.au/content/index.phtml/itemId/541417|here]]. [[http://creativecommons.org.au|Creative Commons Australia]] lodged a submission to the ACCC complaining that APRA's license-back and opt-out provisions were not flexible enough to be useful to Australian artists who wish to license their music under CC licences. As part of this process, APRA has apparently relaxed those provisions.
