======CFP: Gikii2: the comeback======
Last year I went to my favourite one-day academic event ever - [[http://www.law.ed.ac.uk/ahrc/complaw/gikii.asp|Gikii]]. 

It's a one day workshop on the intersections between law, technology, and pop culture. I went last year to talk about MMORPGs; I was treated to fantastic papers on harry potter and a distopian british future; power rangers; the connection between Icarus, I, Robot and the the way the law views emerging technologies; open source killer robots; and many other fun things.

Organised by the very capable Lilian Edwards and Andres Guadamuz, and likely to be attended by some of the most interesting law and tech academics around. I met some really great people last year, I'm sure this year will be just as good!
